This experience inspired me to specialize in psychiatry so I could create safe spaces for stories, struggles, and hope. My motivation is simple but powerful: I want to help people reclaim their sense of self, heal from pain, and find ways to move forward even when life feels heavy. I believe that every person deserves compassionate care and a safe space to make sense of their thoughts and feelings. My aspiration is to keep growing—not only as a psychiatrist, but also as a researcher, teacher, and person—so I can continue bridging mental health care to communities that need it most and guide people toward lives of more clarity and courage. Outside of work, I enjoy quiet mornings with a good book, learning new things, and spending meaningful time with my family.
