About Channell Magluyan, RPsy
Hi there, I'm Channell, and I'm so glad you're here. My journey to becoming a therapist wasn't just a career choice but a deeply personal calling.
I know firsthand how the echoes of childhood trauma can cast long shadows, silently shaping how we navigate our adult lives. But I also know the profound relief and freedom that comes with healing. I built my practice to guide others through that exact same process.
My goal is to provide a safe, trauma-informed space where we can work together so you can experience the same transformative healing that changed my own life.
My Approach to Therapy
If you are feeling unsure about starting therapy—whether this is your very first time, you're looking for a fresh perspective, or past counseling experiences have left you hesitant—I want you to know that you are welcome here exactly as you are.
Whether you are carrying the heavy weight of past trauma, abuse, or grief, navigating a difficult life transition, or simply feeling burned out, you do not have to walk through it alone. My goal is to provide a space that feels genuinely safe, warm, and free of judgment.
Because I practice trauma-informed care, my approach is entirely centered around your comfort. What that actually means for you is:
1. We go at your pace: There is never any pressure. We move at a speed that feels completely secure for you, ensuring you never feel overwhelmed.
2. You are in the driver's seat: Your healing is a collaboration. Your voice, your boundaries, and your choices will always guide our work.
3. Your whole self is honored: I deeply respect your unique background, culture, and personal journey.
Additionally, for clients who wish to integrate their faith into their healing, I offer a Christian counseling approach. If this is something you desire, we can gently blend clinical guidance with biblical principles to support both your emotional and spiritual well-being.
Healing is possible, and I am here to help you find your way forward, one safe step at a time.
